Hey everyone! Long time no post. It's just been a whirlwind of a year. Here is a brief update on things for those interested:
- New books: The newest book out from Scholastic is The Teacher's Essential Guide to Effective Instruction, which will be followed this fall by The Teacher's Essential Guide to Content Area Writing. Clicking on the titles will take you to the books. I am currently working on the next book for Heinemann, tentatively called Teaching with Questions, a book I am very excited about.
- Workshops: I will be doing many workshops around the country this summer and fall, though only on weekends during the school year as I still teach every day. Those interested in learning more about my workshops should contact Heinemann Speakers. Click on the links below for materials from these workshops.
- Workshop Handouts: If you attended the workshop, you can download a clean copy; if you didn't make it to the workshop, you are still welcome to download and use the materials if they will help you do your work better. You are encouraged to share these with others, but please make it clear where they came from and, when you can, remember to support my work by buying my books.
