Simplify. Simplify. Simplify.

If I am to write–for you, for myself, for others–I must begin over, stripping this site down to its bones so that it requires nothing more of me than the time it takes to write. The previous web design, which I spent months working through with a designer, feels like a giant garden, something you would find at Versaille, something that needs a team not a teacher who just wants to write and share what works with his fellow teachers. So from now on: a lean and clean minimalist design where, I hope, the wealth is in the words, not the way the site looks–though, of course, I want it to please the eye as much as the mind.
